Meet Dr. Bingham

Dr. Bingham is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also maintains certification in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

Dr. Bingham was born and raised in Eastern Utah and spent much of his youth exploring the wilderness areas of the Uintah Mountains.  After bouncing around the world with the US Air Force, he feels fortunate to put down roots in Northern Colorado.

Before graduating from a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at Indiana University, Dr. Bingham received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and his DDS degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry where he graduated cum laude and was nominated to the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He then joined the US Air Force and completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

After serving for two years at Lajes Field Air Base in the Azores, Portugal, Dr. Bingham came back to the States and completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was then assigned to David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California where he was an attending surgeon for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and also instructed the AEGD residents.

As he finished his commitment to the US Air Force, Dr. Bingham and his sweetheart wife, Laurel searched far and wide for a place to put down roots with their six sons.  Northern Colorado and practicing with Dr. Thurgood was the obvious choice.

Dr. Bingham has always focused on providing excellent, compassionate care and is grateful for the comprehensive training that has allowed him to do so. His scope of practice includes, but is not limited to: deep sedation, dental implants, surgical extractions, ridge preservation/augmentation, sinus augmentation, biopsies, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery.  Dr. Bingham is also fluent in Portuguese and semi-fluent in Spanish having served a two-year service mission in Brazil and a two-year Air Force assignment in the Azores, Portugal.

In his free time, Dr. Bingham enjoys spending time with his wife and six sons camping, hiking, fishing, serving in the community, and exploring all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
